What others are saying about this campground
Kerr Lake State Park is a heavily wooded small campground that is perfect for rigs up to 30 feet. With paved roads, a splash park, trails, and a boat launch, this park has something for everyone. Most of the campsites are situated on the shoreline, providing easy access to fishing and boating. Some of the sites, like The Hilton (C29-W) offer spectacular views of the lake and gorgeous sunsets. The campground is hilly, so some sites may require leveling of the trailer. There are no sewer connections, but there is a dump station located away from the park entrance. The camp host is friendly and stops by to chat with guests. Unfortunately, there is no swimming allowed due to underwater hazards, but visitors can bring their boat and dock feet from their trailer door. The campground is well-maintained and there are two grocery stores in the nearby town of Clarksville. There is no cell phone or data service available, but some sites have access to four TV channels. The park is great for tent camping and small pop-ups, but some of the sites can be tight for big rigs. There is no firewood or ice available after 4 PM, only during office hours. The park is a great place to relax and enjoy the lake views, but visitors should be aware of the highway noise and the lack of swimming.
