This campground is an older facility located in the Culpeper area of Virginia, with limited improvements and decent maintenance since it was built 40+ years ago. It is run down and dirty, with pieces missing and hoses, cables, trash and insulation strewn all around. The 30A connection is on a weathered log, with no front plate, no containment box, no cutoff switch and is exposed to the elements. The price for a tent site is $25 + tax per night, with an additional $2 per person. There are a few pull-through sites available, but getting a big rig into them may be a little difficult. The manager and maintenance man were both very friendly and helpful. There is lots of shade and open space for the children and dogs, as well as a minimal swing set. There is also a $35 charge to use the dump station if you are not staying on site. Despite the condition of the campground, visitors can still enjoy the area, including the numerous wineries.
