Laurel Creek RV Park is a small, but well-kept campground situated along Laurel Creek and at the midpoint of the Virginia Creeper Trail. All FHU sites have a nice gravel bed and a fire ring with firewood available. The beautiful creek runs behind all sites, providing a peaceful ambiance. Although there is adequate spacing between sites, privacy can be limited. The entrance to the park is steep but manageable, and there is a one-lane bridge on the way to the campground. WiFi works great for computers and phones, but streaming can be challenging. Antenna reception is limited. The RV park is an easy walk away from the town of Damascus. Overall, the park is a good choice for campers with smaller RVs.
