From The Campground
Cave Springs Recreation Area is a picturesque campground situated within the farming community of Olinger Gap. It offers 37 campsites, 9 of which have electrical hookups, and a small spring-fed pond. The campground provides access to the Stone Mountain Trail and Wilderness, and a short hike to an overlook of the Olinger Gap Community. The bath houses have hot showers and flush toilets, and drinking water is available. The America the Beautiful Interagency Pass series and the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests Seasonal Day Use Pass are accepted here and cover day use fees. The America the Beautiful Senior and Access Passes provide a 50% discount to the base campsite fee (not hook ups) and day use fees.
