This campground is an old and basic park located close to the entrance of Shenandoah National Park. It has a large and a small pool, but the large one is only open when they staff lifeguards. The sites are small and close together, and the bathrooms are dirty and poorly stocked. The grass has taken over many of the campsites, but they are still useable. The entrance asphalt has pot holes and the water supply contains grit. The owners are very pleasant and busy with the community pool and snack bar, but it appears that they are more concerned about the operation of the commercial swimming pool than the RV park. Cell service is non-existent in the park, but is available in the town about 3 miles away. The price is reasonable, but there are no quiet hours and multiple sites are loud and up all night. The owners may be price gouging people who couldnt find a spot in the nearby Shenandoah campsites.
