Emporia / I 95 KOA is an excellent stop along the I-95 for RV travelers who need a place to rest and recharge. While some sites are not level, the level ones are spacious and easy to navigate for any sized rig. The pool area is lovely, and the bathhouse is always clean, albeit small. The staff is friendly and courteous, with efficient reservation-taking. While the train crossing nearby can be loud, it shouldnt interrupt your sleep. Overall, this KOA is a convenient and comfortable overnight stay for travelers on I-95.

The new Emporia/I-95 KOA Holiday in VA offers campers an exciting list of amenities for their fun-filled Virginia vacation. We are conveniently located off I-95 exit 17, the perfect halfway point whether you are headed north or south. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature when you stay in a cozy Camping Cabin, take advantage of the full-hookup RV Sites, or check out our new KOA Paw Pen patio site, perfect for those traveling with pets. You can spend the day lounging by the pool, taking a nice walk around the campground, or playing with your fur babies in our dog park! There is plenty of fun to experience at nearby attractions, like Pamplin Historical Park, Historic Petersburg, Lake Gaston, the city of Richmond, and much more! Rail enthusiasts will appreciate the rumbles and whistles of the passing trains that are an integral part of Virginia's history.Please note a railroad is located less than a mile away behind the campground and does run day and night. While we don't have cable, we do offer Wi-Fi for great streaming at no additional fee!Pool: Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend.After-hours check-in and reservations are available for our traveling guests. At our self-service desk, located on the side of the main building, simply fill out the forms and choose an available site from the list.
