The campground has a mixture of back-in and pull-through sites, all with 20/30/50 amp electrical service, water, sewer, and cable. There is a coin-operated laundry facility with private bathrooms, a dog park, and trails along the bay and a Nature Preserve to explore. The Outdoor Recreation Center offers equipment rental for kayaks and canoes to explore the Potomac River. The campground is well maintained and pet friendly, but unfortunately does not offer veteran discounts. There is poor cell service in the area, but Starlink offers high speed connectivity and AT&T is second best. The campground is pricey compared to other military RV campgrounds, but offers a secure location and decent facilities with solid WiFi.

Fort Belvoir Travel Camp is a military campground located in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The campground offers 52 sites with pull-in and back-in pads, direct sewer/water connections, and 20/30/50 amp connections. The campground also provides wireless internet, cable TV, washers and dryers, family style restrooms and shower facilities, and 2 ADA accessible fishing piers. The camp is open to Active Duty, Retired Military, Reservists, National Guards, DoD Civilians, Installation Contractors and those listed in AR215-1, paragraph 7-1. The camp offers 6 permanent Outback Terrain 299 TBH Travel Trailers, Coachman Viking 17BH Travel Trailer, and Coachman V12RBST HW Camping Trailer for rent. The camp is conveniently located near Castle Park, which is complete with a playground, volleyball net, and picnic areas.
