This campground is a great spot for a peaceful, quiet getaway. It is located near the town of Galax, within walking distance of the town and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is a self-serve facility, with a cash or check only policy. The sites are level gravel pads surrounded by grass, with full hookups and no picnic tables or fire rings. The restrooms are old but clean. There is no internet or cell service, no pool, no people, and no playground. However, the services are excellent, and the owner is friendly and helpful. It is a great spot for RVers, tents, and big rigs alike.
