Lynchburg RV Resort is an RV park in Gladys, Virginia that is a part of the Thousand Trails network. The parks roads are gravel and can be rough, but they are currently being graded. Some have expressed concern about possible ruts in heavy rain. The park has limited 50 amp sites available for an additional fee. Although the park has clubhouses, some believe they are run-down and old. Half of the sites are black bagged and unavailable due to electricity issues, and several sites are occupied by long-term residents. Despite these limitations, guests have been able to find open sites in October. The park closes for the winter season. The roads leading to the park can be rough in places, but many able to navigate them without issue. Those who require internet access should be pleased to know that AT&T data plans have worked well in the park.

Thousand Trails offers year-round camping with spacious campsites, hiking trails, fishing, and family fun. They allow pets and have a policy for after-hours arrival. The campground has a free WiFi hotspot located in the activity center. Open campfires while flaming or smoldering must never be left unattended at any time. All fires and hot coals must be extinguished 'dead out' before going to bed, leaving campsite or campfire area. All golf carts are to be registered with proof of insurance and decals must be displayed. Golf carts are to be driven by licensed drivers only.
