The staff is super friendly, courteous, and accessible. The sites are graveled, spacious, and mostly level with picnic tables and fire pits. The campground has a great general store and laundry area that serves cooked food and sundries at a reasonable price. The man-made lake is large, stocked with ducks, and has a beach. The campground also features several playgrounds and a cute miniature golf course. There are several dated but clean bathhouses with showers that are being renovated. The upper-level one is modern and totally updated. The campground is located past farmland, but stores like Target and Walmart are within a 20-30 minute drive. Overall, Stoney Creek Resort Campground is one of the most welcoming and well-managed places to stay.
