Sun Resorts is a serene campground located near the Chesapeake Bay. Despite the two beaches (one dog and one human) washing away during a storm in May, the views are still amazing. The fire pit is made of a few cinder blocks thrown together and the picnic table is a mess, but you can paint and maintain your own. The honey wagon is often out of service and the dump station is closed, but the campground offers a portable tank and golf cart to take it up to the dump site. The internet and WIFI are down (no cable) and the one maintenance man gave you the # of the provider to call on your own. There are a lot of derelict campers in the park and no one cares. The neighbors are friendly and helpful and the area is quiet after 9 PM. You can go fishing, swimming, and enjoy the pavilion and playground. The campground is too expensive for the amenities offered at $44.00 per night, but it is a great place to relax and enjoy the bay.
