This campground is a great place to stay for a few days or longer. It has a laundry room with two washers and two dryers that take a card or an app called CSCPay. The area is like being in the woods with tall trees providing plenty of shade and a fire ring with a grill top and picnic table. It is located near Bethel Lake, which offers fishing and boating, and is close to parks, playgrounds, and the base-owned paintball field. The campground has 50 amp electric services, a dump station, and sewer hookups at each site. Unfortunately, satellite TV reception is not possible due to the thick tree cover, and there is a lack of general maintenance that could make the campground more inviting.

Langley Outdoor Recreation & Parks offers a variety of year-round activities including backpacking, canoeing, white water rafting, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, cycling, and wilderness tours. They also offer equipment rental services, RV storage, camping supplies, and children's amusement tents perfect for parties. The Bethel Recreation Area features 25 wooded RV sites with water, sewage, and electricity, as well as 9 primitive camping sites. A bathhouse equipped with showers, washers, and dryers is available and close to all RV sites. The park is surrounded by a 2-mile lake with some of the best freshwater fishing in the area. Jon boats with motors, paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks are available for rental on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. There are also five large pavilions with grills available for rent and playgrounds located close to most pavilions.
