This campground is located in the suburban area of Hampton at the rear of a 100 acre city park. It is a great campground with 16 sites, some of which are permanent, and 14 day stay is not enforced. All sites have water and electric, as well as trash and a dump station. The campground is covered with mature trees, providing shade and privacy, and is very quiet with some walkers passing through. It is within short driving distance to several tourist areas. The bathrooms have showers, although not the cleanest, and there is also a bathroom in the park next to the campground. Check in at the maintenance office on the end of the street, but be aware of the weird hours and that it is closed on weekends. The park is mainly soccer fields, located in an upscale residential area, and is completely open to the public. There are no sewer hookups, but there is a dump station across from the Maintenance office. The campground is also close to Langley’s AFB, so there may be some noise from jets until 9:30 pm and shooting starting at 6 am. The RV sites are kept in very good shape and there is a 30 amp electric, water, and a dump station at $31.50/nite. This is a great campground for those looking to visit Ft. Monroe, Yorktown, and Jamestown. Be warned of the ticks in the area.

Gosnold's Hope Park is a beautiful park located in Hampton, VA. The park features a newly renovated playground and fitness area that is special needs accessible and available for the enjoyment of all. The park is managed by the Parks and Recreation department of the city of Hampton. In addition to the playground and fitness area, the park offers a variety of amenities and activities for visitors to enjoy. These include a BMX track, community center, and various sports fields. The park also offers discounts for residents and military personnel. Visitors have left positive reviews of the park, praising its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff.
