The amenities are great but the park does need some TLC, as the sites are priced high and the bathrooms and showers need a remodel. The staff attempted to make up for the trouble by giving a full refund. It is family friendly and the kids enjoy the pool, water slides, putt-putt, and paddle boats, although there is an additional fee of $5.00 per person per night to use the activities. The campground is 14 miles from I-77, is used as a field trip destination for local daycares and schools, and has a catch & release pond. Sewer problems have been reported and the pool was overly chlorinated one day. The staff can be friendly but some have been known to laugh when a complaint is lodged.
