Trails End is a campground located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. It is a hybrid of homes, cabins, campers, property owners and transient sites. The bathhouses have all been remodeled, and the amenities include a fishing pier, crabbing pier, marina, nature trail, swimming pool, Putt Putt golf course, pavilion, playground, general store, restaurant and clubhouse. There are also licensed vendors for steamed crabs, snow balls and Shave Ice. Propane is available on site with your approved cylinder for filling. The campground is heavily wooded, with back-in sites that need some work to trim away branches. There is no garbage collection facility in the campground, so everybody has to schlepp their garbage to a couple of huge containers outside the gate. There is also a huge Olympic size pool for summer, and a gated campground with a “cottage” that is very upscale. The electric and water are on the passenger side way to the front of the lot; the sewer is on the driver way to the back. There is also a bath house, laundromat, country store, restaurant, meeting building with free wifi, pool park, boat ramp, and 2 docks. However, the board of directors is extremely chinzy and cheap, so the mosquitos and biting flies make it unbearable to be outdoors a whole lot. TV is also a problem if you dont have a satellite dish, and you can only get one major station.
