Smith Mountain Lake State Park offers a variety of camping options including cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. The park also features a camping lodge (bunkhouse) for rent. The park has 13 hiking trails, a 500-foot beach, and ample opportunities for fishing and boating. The park has a small meeting space, a visitor center with a gift shop, and a snack bar by the beach. The park is open from the first Friday in March through the first Monday in December.
