Small Country Campground is a nice quiet campground located quite far off the highway, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat. A family of 5 stayed there for a 13-week work assignment and their kids loved it. The campground offers plenty of activities for children, including playground equipment and the lake with a sandy beach area. The check-in process was made easy by friendly staff. The wooded pull-thru spots are quite nice, but some are not level, make sure to carry necessary equipment to level your RV. Verizon had good phone service, while other networks had varying levels of service. However, the internet service is a concern for all networks.

Small Country Campground offers a variety of camping options, including campsites for tents and RVs, as well as cabin rentals. The campground features a beautiful 25-acre lake for fishing, boating, and swimming, as well as two sandy beaches. Other amenities include a pool, jumping pillow, playgrounds, mini-golf, hiking trail, basketball court, cornhole boards, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, and swing sets. Small Country also hosts special events throughout the year.
