Meadows of Dan Campground is a rustic and peaceful campground located off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is conveniently located near two wineries, Mabry Mill, a small grocery store, gift shops, a restaurant, and a candy factory. The campground offers drive-thru sites with full hookups and 50 amp, and the top of a hill provides excellent Satellite reception and use of personal hot spots. The campground is mowed every two weeks and there is no security gate. Campers should be aware that the campsites are close together and the wooded area is full of oak trees that drop acorns in the fall. Verizon cell phone and air card for internet access rarely works and reception is poor.
