GenieSummary
Christopher Run Campground in Mineral, VA is a well-maintained 50-year-old park that provides a good camping experience. The office staff is friendly and accommodating. Although there are plenty of full-time residents, the site was clean. The campground is hilly, and some spaces are tight. The open field area at the rear of the park is suitable for larger rigs. There are items for sale in the office store, including 30A and 50A power extensions. The campgrounds own boat launches are a plus, and Lake Annas fall foliage provides a beautiful scene. While coyotes cry at night, the surroundings are picturesque. Cell reception is adequate, and there are vehicles moving throughout the campground. The playground is big, and the family enjoyed the mini-golf ($5/person). Its a busy camp, but the rate is good, and we would go back.
