Montebello Camping & Fishing Resort is a beautiful, small campground surrounded by woods and ponds with a nice trout fishing pond. The bathhouse is clean and well-maintained, and the staff and general store are welcoming and friendly. The campground has a mix of full hook-up, water and electric, and tent sites, which are big enough for small and medium campers. While the road to get there is a bit tight, the access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking is great. There is no cell service, Wi-Fi, or TV reception, which could be a positive or negative depending on the preference of the guest. Some may find the electric and water hookups to be a bit tricky, and the winding VA56 road is not ideal for pulling a camper through, but following the campgrounds website directions and using the parkway can make the drive easier.

Cabins, Camping, Fishing, and a Country Store are all available at our mountain top location. We are nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, less than three miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, in beautiful Nelson County VA. We offer authentic log cabin and cozy cottage rentals, camping of all types, a five acre lake, fee-based trout fishing pond, and a unique country store that's been here since 1894.
