Lake Anna State Park is a beautiful, spacious campground located on the shores of Lake Anna in Virginia. It offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, swimming, and boating. The campground features clean, level sites with power, water, picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern poles. There are no sites with sewer hookups, but two dump stations are conveniently located on the way out of the campground. The lake area has a nice sandy beach (with lifeguards), snack bar, playground, and gift shop. The daily rate of $40 does not include taxes and a $5 reservation fee. There are also plenty of trails, a playground, boat ramp, and bathhouses with outdoor water showers. For those looking to explore the lake, there is a separate canoe/kayak/SUP launching dock. The park is also a great spot for a wedding, with a beautiful lake-side beach and picnic areas. The campground is brand new and there are some bugs to be worked out, but overall, it is a wonderful addition to the otherwise bleak camping options on Lake Anna.

Lake Anna State Park offers a variety of camping options including cabins, lodges, yurts, camping cabins, and traditional campsites. The park also features 11 hiking trails, fishing and boating opportunities, a swimming beach, and environmental education programs. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, wildlife and historical exhibits, and a snack bar. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
