Wilderness Presidential Resort is a campground located in Spotsylvania, VA. There are permanent sites on location, and while some parts of the road are narrow, they are regularly maintained, as is the grass. Some sites have hookups on the wrong side, meaning that an extension cord is necessary. The resort offers great recreational activities such as indoor pool, swimming and fishing in the lake, and Frisbee golf. You can rent Jon boats and paddle boats for a little more activity. The camping store has everything you need, including homemade food. While the roads are clean and there is a lot to do, there are some residents who do not dispose of their garbage properly. Despite its flaws, this is a great place to stay while exploring the local history or just enjoying a weekend getaway.
