Ocean Pines and SeaMist RV Parks is a military campground located near Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach. The park is open to disabled veterans, active duty personnel, retired veterans, and Dept of Defense personnel. The park offers large, paved sites, plenty of trash receptacles, and a convenient location to plenty of outings. The facilities are in disrepair, but the park manager has maintained the appearance of the park in great condition. The daily rate is $25, and weekly and monthly rates have increased to $175 and $750, respectively. The WiFi system is unreliable, and the handicapped access ramp to the office, laundry, restrooms, and showers has been roped off for over a year due to collapse of the deck. The night entrance to the building has also been roped off for the same reason. There is no cable TV or WiFi service, and the jets flying overhead can be loud. The water can also be brown. The staff is friendly, and the park is a great option for military personnel.
