Anvil Campground is conveniently located near Williamsburg and provides a basic but welcoming camping experience. It has clean restrooms, a small pool, playground, and game room. The sites are level, and easy to access, but also quite close together. Trains run on one side of the campground, and a road runs on the other, but noise from the latter wasnt noticeable from inside RVs. The campground has a convenience store that is fairly well-stocked, and its close to local restaurants and shopping. There are trees around the campground which adds to its natural feel. Overall, the campground is a great place to stay while exploring Williamsburg with welcoming, friendly staff who will work with you if your plans unexpectedly change.
