GenieSummary
This campground is situated in a beautiful location overlooking the San Juan Islands, just a couple of miles from the Anacortes-Sidney, BC ferry. It offers electric and water hookups, a dump station, and a boat launch. The roads through the campground are dirt with numerous potholes, and sites consist of pine needles. There are lots of old growth trees, plenty of trails, and a scenic two mile long loop road running around the point. The sites are small and not level, and the traffic flow through the park is backwards making it difficult to pull into a site. Cell service is spotty in places, and the campground loop bathrooms are being replaced, but others are available at the beach area. The campground is reasonably priced, and reservations need to be made two weeks in advance. It is a great place for an overnight when leaving or arriving on the ferry, and offers great views and hiking trails.
