From The Campground

Fields Spring State Park is a peaceful hidden gem in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington. It was established as a state park in 1929. The park is open and staffed year-round, with 20 dry campsites of varying layout in a scenic forested environment, as well as two tipis, one cabin, and two lodges available for rent. Enjoy wildflowers and breathtaking vistas on a spring hike or have a summer picnic in the shade of old-growth Grand Fir trees. Visit in fall to avoid the crowds, hunt and fish on public land nearby, and watch the Western Larch trees turn brilliant yellow. Overnight parking and heated bathroom facilities are also available in winter, when you can play in the snow or snowshoe and cross-country ski 10 miles of trails. For winter day-use parking, a Washington non-motorized Sno-Park Permit is required. During other seasons, a Discover Pass is required for day-use parking. The park office offers tourist information, free kids activity books, parking passes, firewood, ice, postcards & stickers, and rental snowshoes.
