What others are saying about this campground
Fay Bainbridge Park & Campground is a state park on Bainbridge Island that has rocky beaches overlooking Peget Sound. While the sites are fairly close together, it has a lot of space to fly kites and walk. The park is busier during the day with day-use from the community, but is quiet at night. The park is right on the water which makes it a beautiful area to camp in. The water connection is on one side and electric on the other - no biggie since the connections are in the back of the rig. There is no dump station, but the bathhouses are older, but were clean, and okay if you are in a pinch. The campsites are pretty tight, but the beach is beautiful with rock and sandy areas. There are neighbors to the south of the park, but theres a fence and bushes making it not an issue. The location is ideal for a stop before exploring the area around the Olympics. All in all, five-star rating for the gorgeous views of the sound, the beach, the price, and the convenient location.
