What others are saying about this campground
Battle Ground Lake State Park in Battle Ground, WA is a great little campground for quick getaways. The campground itself is improved and organized, with a rustic and woody atmosphere that will help you to feel closer to nature. The park ranger was very respectful and friendly throughout my stay, making for a pleasant experience. While there were several beginner trails around, the main draw of the park was the lake that provided lots of activities and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, firewood was not available for purchase, so you should plan ahead and bring your own if you want to have a campfire. The only issue was with the boulders in front of some campsites, which caused some inconveniences to RV enthusiasts.
