Mount Vernon RV Campground is a heavily wooded park with plenty of tree coverage. The park offers water and electric-only sites, which are well-maintained and have functioning utilities. There is a waitlist for the limited full-hookup sites. The forest setting is picturesque and the sites provide some sense of privacy. The park is kept clean and tidy. During berry season, the park is perfect for berry picking and the surrounding area has lots of natural beauty. The park is adjacent to a freeway, so some road noise can be heard, but it is not too intrusive. Speed racing takes place on some weekends near the park, but ends before 10 PM. The park staff is friendly and always ready to help. The pool is seasonal, but the hot tub is available year-round. The park is overgrown with blackberry bushes on some sites, but the park has made efforts to cut them back. Signage is lacking on some of the park roads, and the lighting at night can be blinding. It is not possible to forward mail to the park and there are no waste tanks for rent.

From The Campground

Enjoy year-round camping in the great outdoors at Thousand Trails’ network of campgrounds, with spacious campsites, hiking trails, fishing, and family fun. Leashed pets are always welcome on the property, but may not be allowed in specific rentals. WiFi is only available in the lodge and surrounding area. Full hooks up are first come first serve for members only. All sites are back-in. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool and lodge areas. Bike riding is not allowed after dark without a light.
