There is a small store on site for basic supplies, firewood, and ice. The park is lush and green with lots of mature trees and thick grassy lawns, and provides a sandy beach access to a swimming area. A well prepared concrete boat launch facility with two ample docks provides ready access to productive rainbow trout waters. The park is patrolled by a ranger and provides a good feeling of security. The park is also a great base for exploring the area, with nearby access to the Chief Joseph Dam, the Columbia River, and the surrounding countryside.
