GenieSummary

Charbonneau Park in Burbank, WA is a clean and well-maintained campground that requires reservations through Recreation.gov even for same-day arrivals. Though some sites only offer electricity, there are also plentiful spots with full services to choose from. Some campers mention bright streetlights that can disrupt sleep in certain areas of the park. Although the beach area was noted to be dirty and unkempt during one visit, it is unclear if this is a regular occurrence or the result of inconsiderate guests. While some reviewers found the park to be very loud and not suitable for a prolonged stay, others would return for short visits.

From The Campground

Charbonneau Park/Campground is a 244-acre recreational area located in Walla Walla County, Washington. It offers camping, day-use, boating, fishing, and swimming activities. The campground has 37 regular RV/tent sites, 15 full hook-up RV/tent sites, and two group shelters. All campsites are reservable. The day-use area has flush toilets, picnic tables, a swim beach, playground, grills, kiosk, maps, and rules and regulations brochures. The two-lane launch ramp into Lake Sacajawea is open year-round, and power loading of boats is prohibited. Alcohol is prohibited, and pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
