Granite Lake Premier RV Resort is a unique park located on the river, and is part of a 14 mile long Riverwalk. The campground provides a large and divided dog park, covered in pea gravel which makes cleaning up after your dog a breeze. The location might not be for everyone, as there are trains across the river at night, but this is part of being on the Snake River. The park is situated behind a Costco, and Walmart, Albertsons and Starbucks are within walking distance. This park is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and always available to help. The bathrooms are nice and clean, and the laundry facilities are well-maintained. Overall, its a good place for a relaxing few days to enjoy local scenery, like Hells Gate State Park, and take walks along the paved Snake River trail, or visit one of the many nearby restaurants, brewery, or winery.
