Whitman County Parks offers four beautiful parks for visitors to enjoy. The Bill Chipman Palouse Trail is a scenic trail that was dedicated in 1998 after 12 years of community vision, perseverance, and donations. Kamiak Butte County Park is a National Natural Landmark with stunning views. Klemgard County Park is nestled in a forested canyon in the Union Flat area. Wawawai County Park sits in the Snake River Canyon and is located approximately three miles upstream from Lower Granite Dam.
