Shannon Creek Campground is the perfect getaway for nature lovers looking for a secluded camping experience. With stunning views of Baker Lake, surrounded by old growth forest, and easy access to hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, etc., this campground is a great spot to relax and take in the beauty of the outdoors. The campsites are private and tucked away, with picnic tables, fire pits, and plenty of space for tents, hammocks, and cars. The lake is beautiful, and the boat launch makes the $14 per night fee worth it. The only drawback is that the one water pump is a bit tricky to use and the water (at the beginning of the season) was rather discolored from rust. Pit toilets were clean enough and campground was immaculate. Be sure to bring a canopy with mesh sides to keep the mosquitos out!
