There are plenty of sites to choose from, some with full hookups, and some with just water and electric. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are also a few trails in the area for hiking and exploring. All in all, a great place to spend a few days and relax. Alder Lake Campground is a peaceful and beautiful destination situated on a 7-mile long lake surrounded by a lush forest. It is about an hour drive from Paradise and is a great spot for a quick getaway. The campground is well-maintained, with tables and fire rings at each site, and offers a variety of sites with full hookups, water and electric, or just water. The facilities are great, with water taps throughout the grounds, clean bathrooms with showers, and a pet post outside the bathrooms. The lake is great for swimming, boating, kayaking, and fishing, and there are trails in the area for hiking and exploring. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the grounds are patrolled intermittently for nighttime safety. Make sure to check the reservation website for extensive descriptions and drone photos of each campsite.

From The Campground

Alder Lake Park offers campsites with water, electric and sewer hookups, horseshoe pits, a playground, picnic tables, fire rings, community fire rings, restrooms with showers, and kitchen shelters with barbecue grills, a sink and electrical outlets. Group camps G1-G4 may reserve the large kitchen shelter, if available, for one meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) per day. For G5-G7, one small kitchen shelter is available for each five-site area. The park also features coin-operated showers, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, water faucets throughout the campground, and a free 20-slip boat moorage dock available on a first-come, first-served basis. Discounts are available for seniors, people with disabilities, and military personnel.
