Although it has some homeless encampments on the other side of the fence, it is conveniently located near Seattle and the surrounding areas. The sites are closely packed together and the park lacks an authentic camping experience. The location is quite noisy due to an RV dealer and nearby airport with small and large propeller planes taking off. Additionally, the park is situated in a commercial area surrounded by RV sales and repair facilities and junk RV storage. There is RV related trash such as insulation, plastic parts, and pipes around some of the sites. Many long-term residents live here because it is more affordable than finding a home in the Seattle housing market.
