What others are saying about this campground
Dash Point State Park is the perfect spot for a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located just outside of Seattle, the campground is situated within the Dash Point State Park, offering day use facilities such as an amphitheatre, beach access, and plenty of hiking trails. The campground itself is well appointed with spacious spots, although the sites arent huge, they are wooded enough to provide decent privacy. Each site has a paved parking pad, flat spots for a tent, a picnic table, and a fire pit with a grill top. Even during the high season, the campground doesnt feel crowded. The nearby beach is a great spot for swimming, clam digging, and enjoying the sunrise. The campground is family and dog friendly, and the facilities are generally clean and well-maintained. The only downside is that the campground is located in the flight path of Sea-Tac Airport, and the sites can be a bit tight for larger vehicles. However, with easy access to Tacoma, Seattle, and Wild Waves, Dash Point State Park is a great spot for a quick getaway.
