What others are saying about this campground
Gifford Campground at Lake Roosevelt National Rec Area is a family-friendly destination with a variety of sites available. Although it is primarily set up for RV camping, the campground works well for tents too. The first 9 campsites offer direct access to the water and the beach, making it ideal for swimming and boating. Well-maintained paths provide plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling. The campground has paved roads, clean flush toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. While some of the campsites have more privacy than others, the peaceful open setting creates a fresh and pleasant atmosphere. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful view of the river, which is especially stunning during the evenings. Additionally, the area has access to fishing docks and a boat ramp. There are no electrical hookups for RVs, and the longest space is approximately 20-25 ft. Overall, it is a nice and inviting campground that you can visit to spend quality time with your family and pets.
