From The Campground

Gold Basin Campground is the largest campground on the Mountain Loop Highway and offers the most developed and accessible camping experience. The campground has 78 single sites, 9 double sites, and 2 20-50 people group sites. The campsites are suitable for both tents and trailers, and some sites are tents only. The campground has flush toilets and drinking water. Across the road from the campground is Gold Basin Pond, a salmon fry viewing area. The 1/2-mile boardwalk is accessible to wheelchairs, and benches are provided on the viewing platforms for the more contemplative visitor to sit awhile.
