Glen Ayr Waterfront Resort in Hoodsport, WA is a lovely, very clean park that has a creek running near the campground. The spaces near the front of the park can be noisy, with logging semis coming down the hill right past your trailer. However, the park is well-maintained, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They are very responsive to camper needs, and the camp hosts are always willing to help. The park is located close to a small winery and the Olympic National Park, which has a nice mile hike that loops around and provides beautiful views. Although some of the walking areas in the park can be challenging to navigate, especially for older campers who may be more susceptible to falls, the park is still considered accessible. The park offers a large hot tub that is nice and relaxing, and its usually available for guests to enjoy for themselves. There are also toys available for kids to play with in the gazebo, which is a nice touch. Guests have access to WiFi, as well as the club house if they need to work online. The park staff is also accommodating about allowing guests to switch campsite locations if they are having difficulty getting a cell signal for work. There is one downside to the park: it is situated right off HWY 101, and guests have to cross the highway to get to the beach and dock. However, the sunrise and sunset views from the dock are breathtaking, and the patio spaces are roomy and comfortable. Overall, Glen Ayr Waterfront Resort is a great place to go for a relaxing and scenic camping trip.
