Canyon Creek Campground is a pack it in/pack it out campground located in Colville National Forest. The campground is a single large circular loop .25 miles from the highway on a dirt road with minimal traffic noise. A few campsites are adjacent to canyon creek which is hidden from view. Convenient for overnight campers it is also a nice location for a few days of relaxed camping. The campground offers 12 single campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Amenities include interpretive site, tent camping, camping trailer, picnic tables, toilets, and parking. The campground is open from Memorial Day Weekend to October 27. The maximum length of stay is 14 days. The closest town is Colville, WA. The campground is accessible via Bangs Mountain Rd/NF-136. The campground offers one mile of paved accessible trail with three benches traversing along Sherman Creek between the campground and the Sherman Pass Log Flume Heritage Site. The campground is ideal for camping, hiking, and day hiking. The difficulty level of the hiking trail is easy to intermediate. The camping fee is $6/single site and $2/per night for an extra vehicle.
