GenieSummary

Haag Cove @ Lake Roosevelt National Rec Area, WA is a popular campground for fishermen due to its boat launch and dock. It is a great spot for families, with a playground, designated swimming area, and plenty of room for kids to play. The campground is primitive, so campers must bring their own water. Vault toilets are serviced regularly. Sites are close together and not shaded, but they offer beautiful views of the canyon wall and nearby foliage. The campground is only $9 a night in the off season and $18 in the summer season. The area is also great for water skiing, wakeboarding, and fishing. It is a beautiful spot for camp outs and sunsets, and the locals are warm and welcoming.

From The Campground

Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area offers three types of camping: standard campgrounds, group campgrounds, and boat-in campgrounds and shoreline camping. Standard and group campsites can be reserved up to 6 months in advance, while boat-in campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The campgrounds have various regulations, including quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am, a limit of 14 consecutive nights per campground within a 30-day period, and not more than 60 total nights per calendar year at any campground within Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash and may not be left unattended.
