Deer Lake Resort is a great place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Camping, fishing, kayaking and volleyball are all available. The resort has a store with hookups, docks, and a boat launch. The campsites are large and the swimming area is beautiful. The store and breakfast restaurant are also worth checking out. The night sky is filled with stars and there are plenty of deer around. The staff are friendly and the resort is kept clean. However, the owner, Dave, has been known to be drunk and belligerent, and has been known to damage property. Be aware of this when visiting.
