The campground is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. The store/cafe on sight is great for breakfast and coffee, and they will even deliver firewood to your site if you need it. The lake is great for swimming, boating, and fishing, and there is a dedicated swim area off to the west side of the grounds. Mossyrock Campground is situated on the beautiful Riffe Lake and is owned by Tacoma Public Utilities. It is well-maintained and offers a variety of camping options including pull-through and back-in sites distributed among three loops, some by the water and some in the birds eye loop overlooking the lake and campground. Fire pits are thoughtfully located away from the pad and out of the foot traffic areas. The campground is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. Amenities include a store/cafe on sight, a beach, a grassy slope for volleyball, bike paths, horseshoes, playgrounds, and a dedicated swim area. The lake is great for swimming, boating, and fishing, and the campground will even deliver firewood to your site if you need it. There are partial hookups at this campground, so visitors should bring quarters for hot showers. Cell reception is good with Verizon and AT&T, and the facilities are adequate but could stand a little updating. Overall, Mossyrock Campground is a great place for an overnight stay with beautiful lake views and plenty of activities.

Mossyrock Park is a beautiful campground located in Mossyrock, WA. The park offers a variety of amenities including a fish cleaning station, swimming area, playground, disc golf, dog park, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, coin-operated showers, wheelchair-accessible sites and restrooms, water faucets throughout campground, reservable kitchen shelter, concessionaire: Nisser’s Snack Shack, and trails: half-mile trail and 3.5-mile loop trail (of which 0.8 miles is wheelchair accessible). The park also offers day-use parking for a fee and is closed from Dec. 20 – Jan. 1. The camping fees vary depending on the season and type of site. Discounts are available for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and military personnel.
