GenieSummary

This campground is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and serene getaway. It is a well-kept campground with friendly owners and managers, nice grass areas and playground, and a grassy community area with horseshoe pits. The RV spots are gravel pads and have water and electric, and some have full hook up. The lake access is down by the tent sites, and the air quality is the best in the state in August. Though it may be a little hard to find, it is worth the effort. There is little to no cell service, and the river was extremely low in the late summer, making the walk to get the water a bit precarious. However, the spots may be a bit tight for larger rigs. The staff is helpful and friendly, and you can see they’ve been putting a lot of work into the campground. Highly recommend!

Activities at the campground include a playground for the kids, volleyball, basketball, horseshoe and soon to come a Gaga Pit. Riffe Lake offers beautiful coves to relax and swim in, waterfalls, and several miles of hiking trails. She also offers pristine fishing for anyone who wants to throw in a line. Riffe Lake Campground is also close to other fishing spots like Swofford pond and Mayfield Lake.
