It is conveniently located to Anacortes, Burlington, and North Cascades National Park, making it a great place for excursions and hiking. The campground has gravel lanes and sites, surrounded by grass and large trees for shade. The spaces are long enough to accommodate big rigs, but the sites are very narrow. The park offers WIFI, but it is very slow and constantly drops the signal. There is no dog park, pool, or play area for kids. The park is mostly for seasonal renters, so it is best to reserve a space in advance. Propane is available in the park. It is a great place for an overnight stop, but you will face Seattle traffic if heading south in the morning. The park is kept neat and tidy.

Mount Vernon RV Park is a quiet and tidy park located just half a mile from downtown Mount Vernon and the Skagit River. It offers 81 full hookup sites with electricity, water, sewer, cable, and wifi throughout the park. The park is close to downtown Mount Vernon where you can find delicious food, handcrafted beer, and take a walk along the Skagit River. It offers easy access to nearby Anacortes, the Ferries, and the surrounding San Juan Islands. The office building offers showers, coin-op washers and dryers, mail cubbies for guests, and an indoor area full of couches and tables where you can find plenty of books and puzzles. Propane is available on site. Pets are welcome upon approval and there are grassy patches and a dog area to play.
