Cougar Flat Campground is located in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest and offers 12 single campsites for visitors to enjoy. The campground is a great location for hiking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and mountain biking in summer and early fall. Nearby Bumping Lake offers visitors opportunities for boating, swimming, and fishing. The campground is adjacent to William O Douglas Wilderness. Several trails are nearby making this campground a perfect spot for a base camp. The American Ridge Trail travels through 26 miles of forest, mountain meadows, and high elevation lakes from the Bumping River to Pacific Crest Trail. Nearby Goose Prairie Trail is another option. The campground offers potable water and a vault toilet. Single site camping costs $18.00/night and an extra vehicle costs $9/night. Trailers are limited to 20 ft. max. The campground is busiest during the summer season. 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access.
