Scatter Creek - Nac Trailhead provides access to Goat Rocks Wilderness by way of the North Fork Tieton Trail #1118 and Tieton Meadows Trail #1128. The campground has four campsites, an outhouse, horse ramp, and stock water. There is no water available for human consumption. Camping is prohibited within 100 feet of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail and within 100 feet of lakes. Shoe Lake basin and Snow Grass Flats are closed to camping and campfires; camping is available at Hidden Springs (about 1 mile west of Shoe Lake). The Yakima Indian Reservation, bordering the Goat Rocks Wilderness on the southeast side, is closed to the general public except for the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail route. Wilderness permits are required and self-issuing permits are free and available at trailheads.
