What others are saying about this campground
The staff was friendly and helpful and the park was well maintained. The only downside was that it was a bit of a drive to get to the park from the highway. Riverside State Park is a beautiful and peaceful campground located in the heart of Washington State. It offers a variety of activities such as hiking and biking trails, a swinging suspension bridge, canoe launches, an equestrian center, an off road vehicle area, and a designated swim area. The campground is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious, level, and shaded by Ponderosa Pines. There are full hook-ups available in the lower campsites, but they are not big rig friendly. The park is located off the highway and can be a bit tricky to get to, but it is worth the drive. The river is beautiful and the wildlife is abundant. It is a great spot for a couple nights stay or a longer stay, but the price is a bit high for an overnight stay.
