Omak City Campground is a great option for an overnight stay, located just off I-97 and close to a river with a great view. It is a city park, so the rates are very affordable. Although the park is lacking in maintenance, it has the potential to be a wonderful place. The sites are set under large trees, with some having satellite access, and all sites having full hookups. There is a walking path next to the grounds that runs along the river and OTA tv includes all the major networks. The park is also very dog friendly, with two off leash pens with poop bags and receptacles. The restroom facilities are very clean, and the sites are fairly close, but have a strip of grass and picnic table between them. Mosquitoes can be a bit of a problem, but can be managed with spray and wind. It is a first come, first served park, and the roads around the RV park are falling apart due to a hard winter. The only complaint is the limited public washroom facilities.
